  Toby Kimm has been my vet for 15 years now. I would not leave him for anything. We have been through everything together. I lost my first dog to cancer after 9 years. She had many health problems and he was there for us. My current dog is 6 and very healthy. I actually miss seeing him more than once a year for check-ups. Dr. Kimm is a great vet that cares about his patients and their families.

  Worst experience I've had at a vet. Don't get me wrong, the actual vet was very kind and caring, the problem I had was with his assistant. I brought 5 kittens in to get fixed 3 months ago. 4 females, one male. After bringing the kittens home from surgery we noticed the male had a section of exposed skin sticking out of the area where they had stiched him up. When we called about it they told us not to worry it should heal normally. Two of the female kittens had a little separation in the surgical site. Over the next couple of days the kittens were feverish and had severe diarrhea. When we brought the kittens back to them for being sick, the vets assistant came in first to examine them. She was very rough while holding them down and did not even clean the rectal thermometer before using it on the others, just gave it a quick wipe off with a tissue. Makes me wonder if they got sick due to her terrible sanitation procedures. When she examined the male, she yanked the scab off of his incision site then proceeded to say "Oh. His penis is hanging out." When I looked myself, it was very clear that what she was talking about was no where near where his penis would come out, and that she had pulled out skin and other tissues from inside him! I cannot imagine how any reputable vet assistant would make this mistake. This resulted in the doctor having to stich him back up. The doctor apologized to us for the whole ordeal and said that it is possible that they all picked up a virus from another animal at their office. He told us their would be no charge for that days visit. Upon visiting the front desk before leaving, the same assist told me my balance was a couple hundred dollars. When I mentioned that the vet told us we would not be charged since it was not our fault, she said "I'm in charge of billing, not him. You can't prove they got sick here." And demanded payment. It has now been 3 months, and some of the kittens are still having sparatic diarrhea. I have also noticed that after their visits they freak out when you try to hold them, I think this may be a result of the rough handling they recived from her. I'm extreamly upset with my whole experience. I almost feel bad giving such low star review because of how kind and knowledgeable the actual vet was, but his assist is horrible and should be fired. I surely will never return to that office while she is employed there.
